This programme will travel to selected high schools in the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal. The ISETT-Mobile is both the locus and focus of FUN, EDUCATIONAL, INTERACTIVE and CHALLENGING experiences. It will provide a specialised environment exposing learners to the unknown side of technology.

The ISETT mobile is a joint project between the Discovery Centre, the Information Sector Education, Electronics and Telecommunications Technologies Education and Training Authority (ISETT SETA), and the Computer Society of South Africa (CSSA).

Your visit to the ISETT-Mobile will provide

» An interactive information Systems, Electronics and Telecommunications exhibition, in situ, making the experience accessible to learners in their own environments

» An integrated educational programme geared to supporting teachers through presenting a focussed experience that is linked to both the Technology and Natural Sciences learners areas, that is age-and syllabus-specific

» Exposure to computing, audio-visual and telecommunications equipment and their uses

» An actual experience of working on and with this equipment, to learn more about these and other modern technologies
